Artist Statement

In my oil paintings, I seek to capture the fleeting beauty of flowers and the subtle interplay of light and color that often escapes notice. Working alla prima with fluid wet-in-wet techniques, I aim to preserve the freshness and immediacy of each moment on the canvas.

Floral still lifes hold a special place in my practice. They offer both a visual and emotional dialogue—fragile petals, shifting tones, and luminous forms becoming a meditation on impermanence and vitality. Each painting is an invitation to pause, to see the delicate poetry of nature in its quiet yet radiant presence.
