consider showcasing your art this year
Artists and fine craftspeople of all kinds are encouraged to participate in the FASM Studio Art Tour, either as a stop on the Tour or a guest artist in one of the studios.
Our Studio Art Tour extends across from Milton to Georgetown, Limehouse, Acton, Guelph, Eden Mills, Campbellville, Carlisle, and Kilbride. It is truly an opportunity to encourage visitors to enjoy a drive in the countryside, visit working artists’ studios, and purchase new and exciting work directly from the makers. Over 750 guests visit our locations throughout the whole weekend.
The dates and times for the 2026 Studio Art Tour are set for Saturday, September 26th to Sunday, September 27th, from 10am to 5pm each day.

Studio Art Tour
GENERAL INFORMATION:

All Artists must be a FASM member in good standing BEFORE your application will be considered. Haven't paid this year's Membership Fee yet? Membership Application

Your application and payment are due by March 31, 2026 (midnight). The Fee is $100 per Artist, and will not be refunded in full after May.

Each Artist will be responsible for costs to decorate and provide refreshments for their location. FASM will supply each Artist with promotional print material, but the cost of distributing print material will be left to each Artist.

Each Artist is responsible to find their own location on the Studio Art Tour; you will be assisted in this by the committee as best as possible. If your Studio can accommodate another Artist or two, please email Anne-Ellice at ellissesglasspieces@gmail.com.

All Artists are encouraged to demonstrate their art-making skills at their location.

Each Artist is responsible for distributing at least 100 Brochures.

Each Artist will be asked to post on social media to promote the event.

Each Artist will be asked to select a way to VOLUNTEER before their application will be considered:
VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES AND TASKS:
Brochure Committee - 5 people (March - Apr. 30)

Get all artists to review and approve the brochure write-ups.

Pick up the Brochure order at Sherwood Printing in Georgetown and make sure all are in bundles of 100.

Distribution of Brochure - be an artist that can pick up brochures for their area and distribute.
Sign Committee - 10+ people (August - September)

Get the signs out of and put back into storage (at 820 Childs Drive in Milton).

First week in August, will need to distribute "Studio Signs" to each studio location.

Map out where signs should be placed along the Tour route.

Week of the Tour - install and remove all signs and banners along the route.
Sponsors - Open to All (April - August)

Approach Businesses to get sponsorship ($ amounts based on the levels we have set on the form); complete the Sponsorship Form; obtain their Logo jpeg image.

Go to restaurants along the route and see if they wish to advertise their business on the Toureka App for $150.00. The Toureka App is a hand-held tour guide and digital brochure which allows our Sponsors to advertise their business along our Studio Art Tour digital route on the app.

Special this year: Each Artist who signs up a Sponsor will receive a $25 refund. The refund will be provided after FASM receives the completion of the form and payment. Please contact Anne-Ellice for more information.
Social Media - 3 people (August - September)

ARTIST APPLICATIONS:
SAME AS LAST YEAR:
There will be an application for NEW APPLICANTS (anyone who has never been in the FASM Studio Art Tour before) and a separate one for RETURNING ARTISTS. Be careful to fill out only the one that applies to you. In each one, include an image of your artwork that best represents you as an artist. As well, this year you can upload a short video clip (max. 40 seconds) to help promote you as an artist, especially if you are being considered for the Tour for the first time. Alternatively, you can upload a second image.
NEW THIS YEAR! For all Returning Artists: you will have the option to leave what was on last year's brochure...for this year.

All new applicants will be carefully juried to maintain the highest quality of work presented. You will be notified if you have been accepted and if not, your fee will be fully refunded. Once all applicants have been accepted, further Tour information will be provided.
