A new year, a fresh start, and a new Board!
Some Board Members are completing the second year of their terms, while others are new - everyone is looking forward to serving the Members of FASM throughout the year, which runs from January 1st to December 31st.

We could always use an extra hand or two - consider joining one of the many exciting committees listed below, or consider putting your name forward for a position on the Board by filling out the Volunteer Request Form.
The next elections will be held in June, but if you are interested, find out how you can step forward into an assistant or acting position.

An experienced business leader with a collaborative, lets get it done together attitude. I engage with the business community, bringing awareness of FASM to Milton based companies and look for opportunities for our members to elevate their arts practice.
Membership Director
Maheen Aslam
My responsibilities include keeping members' information organized and I am available to answer any membership related questions.
Workshops Director
Barb Tate
Barb organizes monthly workshops with well known instructors using various mediums and techniques.
Juried Show Chair
Lynn Burnett
My role is to organize and run the FASM 2025 Juried Art Show. Our organization is planning on this becoming an annual show to foster the growth and recognition of artists in our community.

It has been my great privilege to be associated with the Fine Arts Society of Milton for over 15 years and to have welcomed and [advocated/encouraged] new artists as they join our creative community.
Newsletter Editor
Nargis Naqvi
I ensure that every department at FASM has shared their monthly requirements with me so that I can create the newsletter or any other emails, sent to our subscribers, diligently every month. I ensure all images are provided, links are correct, and content is edited.
Studio Art Tour Chair
Anne-Ellice Pascoe
As a Board Member, I provide views with on-going projects and volunteer wherever needed. As a Studio Art Tour Chair, I am responsible for the full run of the Tour.

As an interior designer, entrepreneur, and marketing professional, I get to work on creative projects. Returning to my artistic roots, I am happy to be an active member of FASM and provide support to this thriving community of artists and creative innovators.
Exhibitions Chair

I am responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of FASM's art exhibitions to ensure that the exhibition is a cohesive, well-executed event that provides value to artists, attendees, and sponsors.
