Course Description:
Learn to capture the mood and atmosphere of our glorious landscapes with visible texture and a sense of spontaneity. Focusing on the play of light in the world around us, let’s create our very own masterpiece balancing vivid colour and distinctive brushstrokes in a loose impressionistic style.
A step by steps step instructional demo “follow along” workshop. My style is contemporary Impressionism, my palette is bold colour. Students are provided individual attention and assistance from start to finish.
I work on my own large canvas measuring a minimum of 25” x 25” using heavy body Golden/Liquitex acrylic paints. I provide a print of a reference photo to each student. I strongly encourage the students to use their own photos if they wish. My programs are best suited for painters with some experience in painting. Please check out my website for a complete overview of the scope of my work.
